Designing for inclusion

With 48 million members, Elevance Health is the nation's second-largest health insurer. And every one of those members needs to understand their benefits—even if they’re among the 20% of Americans who are living with a disability.

That’s why we’re all about delivering on 508 compliance standards for accessibility. Whenever Elevance asks us to design an electronic document, we work closely with writers to determine page hierarchy for accessibility software, assign alt-text to images, and give the reader link descriptions and instructions. We also ensure a proper contrast level of all the colors throughout. The result: communications that are beautiful and readable for all.
