For a unique process, a one-of-a-kind look

With its roots in 19th-century Cuba, the Pilón method of cigar tobacco fermentation creates a taste and appearance that just can’t be reached otherwise. General Cigar uses this complex (and rather expensive) technique to create CAO Pilón.

They needed branding to express the painstaking care that goes into the making of each cigar—so they reached out to Punch. We developed an identity and packaging as unique as the process for the product. The Pilón’s split-top box and detailed figurative illustrations bring special attention to the process.
